Slovakia has implemented the Reporting by the press on current events (Art. 5.3(c) 2nd part InfoSoc) exception in Section 39(2) of the Copyright Act. The national exception closely resembles the EU exception.

Pursuant to §35(1) of the Copyright Act, the name of the author or his pseudonym, if it is not an anonymous work, as well as the work title and source, must be stated in all cases under §37 and § 39.
