The Netherlands has implemented the Press review (Art. 5.3(c) 1st part InfoSoc) exception in Artikel 15 Auteurswet. The national exception is slightly more restrictive than the EU exception.

Implementation summary:

Exception allowing the copying by daily or weekly newspapers or magazines and by radio or television programmes or by other mediums which fulfils the same function of messages or articles on current economic, political, religious or philosophical topics, or of works of the same nature that have been published in a daily, news or weekly newspaper, magazine, radio or television programme, or in another medium fulfilling the same function. The exception only applies when the copyright has not been expressly reserved. The authors moral rights must be observed and the source including the name of the author must be clearly indicated.
