Lithuania has implemented the Use for advertising the exhibition or sale of works of art (Art. 5.3(j) InfoSoc) exception in Article 24(1), p.4 of the Law of 18 May 1999 No VIII- 1185 on Copyright and Related Rights. The national exception is slightly more restrictive than the EU exception.

This exception allows for the reproduction, publication or communication to the public of works for the purpose of advertising the public exhibition or sale of artistic works, to the extent necessary to promote the event, excluding any other commercial use.
