Croatia has implemented the Use of works of architecture or sculptures in public spaces (Art. 5.3(h) InfoSoc) exception in Article 204 of the Copyright and Related Rights Act. The national exception closely resembles the EU exception.

This exception allows for the reproduction, except in three-dimensional form, of author's works that are permanently located on streets, squares, parks or other places accessible to the public, and distribution and communication of such copies to the public. The exception applies only with regard to the external appearance of architectural items.
