Czech Republic has implemented the Use for the purpose of research or private study (Art. 5.3(n) InfoSoc) exception in Section 37(1)c of the Copyright Act. The national exception closely resembles the EU exception.

Implementation summary:

Ths exception allows for a library, archive, museum, gallery, school, university and other non-profit school-related and educational establishment to make available to members of the public by dedicated terminals located on its premises a work which constitutes a part of its collections or a reproduction thereof, as long as the use is not subject to purchase or licensing terms. Use must be made exclusively for the purposes of research or private study of members of the public, provided that they are prevented from making reproductions of the work others than for their private use under the private copy exception.
