Czech Republic has implemented the Use for public security purposes (Art. 5.3(e) InfoSoc) exception in Section 34(a) of the Copyright Act. The national exception is slightly more restrictive than the EU exception.

This exception allows for the use, to a justifiable extent, of a work on the basis of law for purposes of public security, for court or administrative proceedings or for any other official purpose, or for parliamentary procedures and for taking minutes thereof.
